Originally hailing from Ogden, Utah, I got my BA in Theater from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington (yes, it is a real place... and a charming one, actually), before landing in Chicago to pursue my acting career.
I am a proud company member at Buffalo Theatre Ensemble and have been fortunate to work with some other really great theater companies, including Shattered Globe Theatre, Oak Park Festival Theatre, and Pride Films And Plays. I've also done some fun on-camera stuff including the feature 30 MINUTES OR LESS, a couple of commercials and voice overs, and most recently, the webseries VC (Venture Capital). You can check out some of my stage and on-camera work on my Vimeo page.
In addition to acting, I hold dual certificates in Enology and Viticulture from Washington State University and have channeled that knowledge as a wine writer and vineyard consultant.
When I'm not working, I'm reading (sometimes in Spanish), seeing shows, cooking, crafting, gardening, high-fiving my crazy cat, and volunteering with adult English Language Learners.
